Nominations for the 2009 Helios HR Awards Awards Open Until February 25
The deadline for submission of nominations is February 25, 2009. Nominees are judged on the following criteria: professional development opportunities made available to employees, how those opportunities are communicated, their performance management process, and the quantifiable impact of their employee development initiatives on the organization. Nomination forms can be found here.
“The Apollo Awards recognize Washington-area organizations that promote employee growth and development as a part of their organizational culture,” said Kathy Albarado, president and CEO of Helios HR. “Companies selected as finalists not only make training and development available to employees but integrate these opportunities into the organizational culture.”
Organizations must have a location in the Washington DC metropolitan area in order to be eligible for consideration. Award finalists and winners will be recognized at a breakfast ceremony on June 5, 2009 at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church.
Last year’s winners were: JustinBradley, Kadix Systems, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, Bowman Consulting and Grant Thornton.
“As one of last year’s Apollo winners, we were honored to have our employee growth and development efforts recognized by Helios HR,” commented Doug Layman, President, Kadix Systems. “Kadix Systems recognizes continual employee development as the core of exceptional client service delivery for a professional services firm.”
